Viewing State Errors |

The State Errors window displays the errors in the hub entity that was selected in the cockpit. Errors can occur in business instance objects or candidate (matched) instance objects.
- On CUSP > My Applications, click
(MDM Data Steward Cockpit). The MDM Data Steward Cockpit window appears with a list of published MDM models.
- You can view state errors in any one of the following ways:
- Click the published MDM model for which you want to view the state errors, and click
(View Dashboard) from the tool bar.
- Right-click the published MDM model and select published MDM model for which you want to view the state errors and select
View Dashboard. The Dashboard - <MDM Model> window appears with the graphical runtime view of the selected MDM model.
- Click the published MDM model for which you want to view the state errors, and click
- Select the hub entity whose summary you want to view, from the drop-down list next to Hub Entity. You can view the summary of the selected hub entity. If there are any state errors for the selected entity, a graph depicting the number of errors occurred in the State Engine appears in the Runtime Errors pane.
- Click the bar graph representing State Errors. The State Errors window appears with a list of rows depicting errors in the hub entity that you have selected, the primary keys of the records, the time at which the error occurred, the exception details, and so on.
- Select the row for which you want to rectify the exceptions. The exception details appear under the Exception Message section. Click More Details collapsible window to view more details about the exception. Rectify the exception.
- Select the instance (row) for which you have rectified the exception and click
(Click to view the instance of the selected record) to view the complete instance of the selected record. The Business Object Instance window appears. You may modify the values of an instance and then manually trigger an event.
- Select the row and click
(Click to view the selected record) to view complete details of the instance. The State Instance window appears with the complete details of the record.
- Click
to refresh the State Exceptions window.
